Serving individuals, couples and families

In-Person & Virtual Sessions

I specialize in working with individuals, couples and families. This often includes navigating life transitions, relationships, parenting, divorce, anxiety, career, self compassion and a variety of other challenges.

About

My therapeutic style is to support your individual needs while also being mindful of your environment, your family of origin and your social and financial context. This eclectic approach to therapy allows me to consider the many identities and cultural contexts that influence the way you view the world.

I believe in being authentic, fully present and communicative with my clients. In working together, I strive to strike a healthy balance of meeting you where you are - while also challenging your thought processes in a gentle and kind way. Although therapy can be uncomfortable at times, I aim to create a warm, judgment-free environment where you can feel supported and seen.

During our time together, you’ll find a welcoming, safe space to explore your self-awareness and self compassion. Our goal is to help you tap into the best version of yourself so you can make healthier and more authentic decisions. We’ll also explore the impact of your past experiences on your current behaviors and coping mechanisms, so you can create healthier choices and outcomes to live your best life.

Outside of our practice, I present and teach on topics including domestic violence, marriage, family, relationship issues, diversity, parenting and choosing between obtaining a MSW, Psy.D or Ph.D. The theories I utilize include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy, Family Systems and Psychodynamic and Reality Therapy.

I look forward to working with you to help you create the peaceful balance you crave in your life!
